The specific process is to tie a tape at each of the symmetrical semicircle of the ring, with the width of the tape slightly larger than the thickness of the spacer.

The principle is that when pulling the second layer of the wire row, the coil will slip and slide to the edge on the surface of the magnetic ring, and tying the rolling tape will stop the coil from sliding to both sides. The method of operation is more expensive, but does not affect the surface finish of the magnetic ring.

Method 2: Rubbing vanilla water

The magnetic ring first with a high concentration of vanilla water or no diluent to the insulating oil soaked magnetic ring for a few seconds, hands wearing rubber gloves, repeatedly rubbing in the surface of the magnetic ring, so that the surface of the magnetic ring to form folds, increasing the roughness of the surface of the magnetic ring. Allow to dry naturally, you can wind the wire directly on the magnetic ring, because the surface of the magnetic ring is rougher, when pulling the wire, the coil will not slip, and after the winding is completed, you can also directly insert the spacer into it. This method is often used by Magnetic Ring Inductor manufacturers because of its low cost and operability, but the surface finish of the magnetic ring is poor, and the surface has folds formed by insulating oil, so the overall appearance is slightly poor.
